About

BelPort Building & Remodeling has been building on Cape Cod since 2004. Rooted in Barnstable, we are a design-build-remodel company that guides homeowners from the first idea to a finished home, with planning, design, engineering coordination and construction managed under one roof.

Our work includes custom homes, whole-home renovations, additions such as primary suites, great rooms and in-law spaces, high-end kitchens and baths, and select light commercial projects. We also restore and update older and antique Cape homes, preserving their character while bringing structure and systems up to modern standards.

Founder Dmitry Mazheika trained in electromechanical engineering before turning to architecture and construction, then spent years on the tools framing and finishing alongside his crew. He stays involved in every phase of design, engineering verification and problem solving, especially where structure, systems and design meet.

Every project starts with careful preconstruction: site and existing-conditions review, permitting strategy for Cape Cod's zoning, conservation, septic and historic requirements, detailed budgeting, and a realistic schedule. That way decisions are made before construction begins, not during it.

We build with a team of local trade partners, many of whom have worked with us for years. We use materials chosen for coastal conditions, including Andersen windows and doors built for salt air and Cape winters.

Clients come to BelPort at the idea stage and leave with a finished project. Built to Last. Built for Life.
